Introduction to Typography - Project 4 Hierarchy
Overview
Assigned to select a topic and conduct research to experiment with grid layouts and hierarchy, starting with a simple manuscript grid with limited options and progressing to a complex modular grid with limitless possibilities. All in preparation for the next project in which we could combine type and image.
Delivery
I chose "Design Week Mexico" as my topic because its three-word title allowed for strategic use, even within limited constraints. As restrictions lessened each week, it gave me the freedom to fully explore and showcase my typography skills and it let me push my self as a designer to see my limits.
